Saints rookie quarterback Spencer Rattler tossed the ball off to running back Kendre Miller before Miller threw a lateral back to Rattler. Rattler's spaced-out positioning on the field gave him all the space and time he needed to deliver a bomb to the end zone and tight end Foster Moreau, who backpedaled into the catch. The score gave the Saints a 7-3 lead to start the second quarter.
At the time of the touchdown, Rattler had completed 2 of 3 pass attempts for 46 passing yards. Rattler is looking to securing his first win as a starter in the NFL after losing his first three times. The Fox Sports broadcasting team mentioned as the Saints are in the final two weeks of the season, look for offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak and interim head coach Darren Rizzi to take chances with creative and fun playcalls.
