Experts from the multi-award-winning BBC show are set to switch out their aprons and muddy boots at the barn for a microphone on stage as they travel the country for their show, The Repair Shop, Secrets From The Barn.

But, after being charged with controlling and coercive behaviour against his estranged wife Lisa Zbozen, Jay Blades was dropped from the live show's lineup in October. An insider has since told The Sun that the show's brand has been 'damaged' and tickets 'haven’t exactly been selling out' which has led to three dates 'being cancelled'.



The publication reported that the Newcastle, Glasgow , and Edinburgh shows will no longer be going ahead and no future dates have been rescheduled yet. 'Tickets for Brighton, Swansea, Bath, Portsmouth, Birmingham, Leicester, Southend, Nottingham, Salford and Sheffield are unaffected and are available through Ticketmaster and local venues.

' The ten unaffected dates, which are going ahead in 2025, are Birmingham, Andover, Swansea, Bath, Portsmouth, Leicester, Southend, Nottingham, Salford, and Sheffield. While most fans are excited to finally see their favourite BBC stars in person, many were left 'disappointed' by the tour's choice of location.

Fans flocked to the show's Instagram to share their upset. One penned: 'Nowhere near Cornwall. So disappointing.

'This tour will give fans a glimpse into life at the barn and the experts skills and stories unlike ever seen before.

' The live tour is produced by Firefly Live and No Third Entertainments and runs from February, 2, 2025 to March, 24. Jay was quietly dropped from the line-up and is noticeably absent from its promo material. It comes after he was axed from The Repair Shop and some of his other future programmes were scrapped.

Jay has been at the helm of the BBC show - which sees guests bring in treasured items to be transformed - for seven years. However, it's said that he has been axed from the upcoming Christmas special of the restoration programme, with show makers already considering replacements. Creators Ricochet are eyeing up The Repair Shop's furniture restorer Will Kirk and craftsman Dominic Chinea as potential replacements for Jay, according to The Sun .

A source told the publication: 'Everything is up in the air following Blades getting charged, but TV chiefs didn’t want to be seen to act slowly. 'Until court proceedings have run their course, everything is getting put on hold, and alternative plans are being considered. 'But The Repair Shop is likely to continue as it’s hugely popular and the feeling is that the show is bigger than any individual.
