People in Taunton can rejoice as a well-known pub along East Reach is officially reopening tonight (April 5).

The Racehorse Inn, on East Reach, has suffered huge blows in recent years with management chopping and changing frequently. Last year, under previous management, the pub looked to attract new and returning customers by offering an unlimited buffet once a week to people from a different street in Taunton every week. Just in time too as people can enjoy the large walled garden at the rear of the pub, which is ideal for a relaxing drink on those warm summer days. Owners of the Racehorse, Red Oak Taverns, were looking to strike a 5-year deal for the pub, including a tie for beer, cider and lager (free of tie for wines, spirits and minerals). It is the landlord's view that this site has a potential turnover of around £350,000 (including VAT) per annum.

Annual rent at the Racehorse was also listed as £26,000 via Rightmove. Whilst the new management hasn't publicly been revealed yet, you can meet them at a reopening party at the pub tonight, on a night that will include drinks deals and a DJ set by O.K Sells.

If you have one of these flyers (pictured) then you will be able to get 15% off your first round of drinks tonight.
