New The Batman spin-off The Penguin is set to be released in the UK and return comic book fans back to a gritty Gotham. Matt Reeves' 2022 flick introduced fans to a new vision of Gotham and a fresh spin on the DC universe's famous characters. Set a week after the events of The Batman, The Penguin sees Colin Farrell's character aim to seize power in Gotham's criminal underworld and expand his business empire.
The unpredictable Sofia Falcone, played by Cristin Milioti, returns to Gotham and wants to pick up the Falcone criminal empire and comes to odds with The Penguin. Also starring are Boardwalk Empire’s Michael Zegen as Alberto Falcone, Billion’s Clancy Brown as Salvatore Maroni, Runaways’ Rhenzy Feliz as Victor Aguilar and House of Cards’ Michael Kelly as Johnny Vitti.
