During term-time, the Royal children attend Lambrook School in Berkshire. Prior to relocating to Windsor, both George and Charlotte were students at Thomas's Battersea in south London.

Despite their Royal status, insiders reveal that the children are treated no differently than their peers once they enter the school gates. This naming style was also adopted by his father William and uncle Harry , who used their father Charles' title - Wales - as their surname during school and military careers.

However, the six year old Charlotte Cambridge has been known by other names over the years. Laura-Ann later shared on Instagram that Kate had shared her nickname for Charlotte during their conversation, stating: "She asked how old Bertie is, and I said he is four and she said, 'Oh, he's the same age as Lottie.' She calls her Lottie!" Story Saved You can find this story in My Bookmarks. Or by navigating to the user icon in the top right.
