The long-running Channel 4 soap, as viewers will recall, took a time-jump into the future back in September, meaning that audiences didn’t get to see what their favourite characters got up to in that ‘missing’ gap of time. But that all changes on Monday (April 7), with a throwback offering of the beloved serial taking us back in time to fill in a few of the blanks.Fans will particularly be keen to know just how Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed) is to blame for Tommy Odenkirk’s (Brandon Fellows) brother Billy winding up in a coma.
The flashback scenes will see Joel and Leela Dexter’s (Kirsty-Leigh Porter) marriage on the rocks, with the former struggling with a drug addiction. It’s an episode not to be missed. Hollyoaks’ flashback episode can be viewed from 6am Monday April 7 on Channel 4 streaming or catch it on E4 at 7pm.
