“ONE was looking north, the other was looking south” - that was how a Penang politician described the interaction between DAP national chairman Lim Guan Eng and Penang DAP chief Steven Sim Chee Keong when they attended the party’s Veterans Club AGM (annual general meeting) last weekend. The two men shook hands but could barely bear to look at each other. That is how deep the rift in Penang has grown with just a few more days before the party’s national polls this Sunday (March 16).
