The Links hosts Black Family Wellness Expo

SHREVEPORT, La. - The Links Inc. Shreveport chapter hosted a wellness exp at Linwood Charter School Saturday afternoon.

The expo is an effort to reduce health and economic disparities in the Black community. The event not only offered healthy living information but also essential health screenings. The organization holds the expos nationwide during the month of March.



The Links, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946. The membership consists of more than 17,000 professional women of African descent in 299 chapters located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and the United Kingdom.
