The Last of Us Part 2 is one of Sony’s biggest exclusives. It is releasing on Steam, meaning even more people will get to play the divisive sequel before the HBO second season arrives in a couple of weeks. While TLOU2 arriving on Steam is great news, just as good is The Last of Us Part 2 fans on PS5 getting a free download full of new content .

No specific launch time is shared, but it could become available in conjunction with the Steam release time . As for what the free download includes, it’s more content for the fun No Return survival roguelike mode.
Naughty Dog are adding two new playable characters in Marlene and Bill from TLOU1. Both these characters will have unique playstyles with the PlayStation Blog post labelling Bill a “smuggler” with a “custom pump shotgun,” meanwhile, Marlene, is a “Risk Taker” with a “Custom Assault Rifle”. In addition to Marlene and Bill, No Return is also getting four new maps.
These include the following: Overlook: Set high above the city of Seattle and features plenty of verticality, is the memorable site of a Seraphites encounter in the campaign. School: The abandoned elementary school in which Ellie and Dina face off against the W.L.
F. Streets is set in the overgrown Seattle neighborhood of Hillcrest Nest: Familiar to players who have played as Abby through an Infected-infested building. As if the No Return new content wasn’t enough, the free download will also include “accompanying new Trophies and additional bug fixes,” and there is also Jordan’s jacket skin to purchase via in-game points.
