But several of them have also seen action abroad. And these ladies have not only carried the Philippines in several global tilts.

They have also brought pride and honor to the country by copping placements in their respective international pageants. Jeanette Reyes from Batangas City is among the bevy of Filipino beauties who received a title in the Miss Tourism International pageant, who contributed to the Philippines’ sterling record in the Malaysia-based contest. She earned her ticket to the global tilt by winning one of the titles in the 2022 Mutya ng Pilipinas pageant.

In Malaysia in 2023, she was crowned as Miss Tourism Metropolitan. Another accomplished beauty is Francesca Beatrice Abalajon from Aklan, who competed and placed in not just one, but two international competitions. Her first overseas action was in the 2019 Miss Teen International pageant in India where she finished fourth overall.

She then joined the 2022 Miss World Philippines pageant and earned her way to the Miss Eco Teen International contest in Egypt where she finished second. Iligan City’s Annabelle McDonnell was first runner-up in the 2022 Miss Universe Philippines pageant won by Celeste Cortesi, and where Michelle Dee and Pauline Amelinckx also received “Tourism” and “Charity” titles, respectively. The Mindanaoan radio host was later crowned as Miss Charm Philippines, replacing Ashley Subijano who applied for the Miss World Philippines pageant.

McDonnell finished strong in the inaugural Miss Charm pageant in Vietnam, and was proclaimed as first runner-up. The three international beauties are among the 36 ladies competing in Bb. Pilipinas 2025 , the 61st edition of the longest-running national pageant in the country.
