(Associated Press photo) The Latest Wells College is looking for a buyer: The private liberal arts college by Cayuga Lake closed at the end of June after 156 years in business. Now, the campus is up for sale . A listing by commercial real estate firm CBRE seeks offers for the college’s more than 20 classroom, dining, office and residence buildings, and athletic facilities including a large turf field and tennis courts.

No price is listed, but Cayuga County assesses the campus at $8.5 million. What’s Trending He runs a local Chick-fil-A without speaking a word: Jimmer Szatkowski, who opened Upstate New York’s first Chick-fil-A in 2018, has been dedicated to running his restaurant daily despite being diagnosed with ALS in 2021 .
