Susan Noles has found a new beau! The 68-year-old business owner, who was a contestant on season 1 of The Golden Bachelor , revealed how she met her new boyfriend while on a vacation in Saint Martin. “I did meet someone and I know I’ve been talking about being single because I didn’t know where it was going to go. I know what I felt, but wanted to make sure we were both on the same page and I just have to share that we are.
We were having fun and were just seeing where things are going and now, I can honestly say he’s the real deal,” Susan said on an episode of her Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast with co-host Kathy Swarts . She continued, “I went on national TV on The Golden Bachelor and it didn’t work. And Kathy and I were having a fabulous vacation and one night we went to bed, she was upstairs, I was in my room and I was playing games on my computer and I could not sleep.
And I thought, you know what, what do I got to lose? I went on Tinder. See everybody, it does work when you least expect it.” Susan then matched with a 54-year-old man named Frédéric , and arranged a date with him a few days later.

. Meanwhile, Kathy , 71, said that while she introduced the two to each other in French, she quickly found an excuse to leave the date, as Susan and Frédéric hit it off immediately. Susan then described the remainder of the three-hour long date, saying “there was a lot of chemistry,” and that he walked her home afterwards.
“He wanted to come in, but the rules are the rules,” Susan said. The two apparently spent “every waking moment” together for the rest of the trip, and she went back to visit him on Saint Martin multiple times. Susan describes Frédéric as “the love of her life,” who is “tall and handsome,” “as silly as I am” and “a great cook.
” The two have apparently said “I love you,” and Susan is currently taking French lessons. Meanwhile, while Kathy originally had reservations about how fast things were moving, she came around when she met Frédéric . “She couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.
She kept saying to me this, I’ve never felt this way about a guy. Susan tends to rush in to love. Susan loves being in love, which is great, don’t we all, but she rushed into it with this guy.
But once I got to meet him and talk to him, he was such a nice guy and genuinely nice to me, and I thought, okay, you know what, she might have struck gold here,” Kathy said. As for her future with Frédéric , Susan knows what she wants. “I don’t know that I have to get married.
