The Finals Season 4 is only one more week away, and we absolutely cannot wait for its arrival. We’re already stoked by what has been announced so far, and even more details will be revealed soon at TwitchCon. While there is a lot to be excited about, one aspect we would love to see in The Finals Season 4 is the return of special LTMs as last seen in S2 .

Embark has confirmed that the release date for Season 4 is September 26th, and they have revealed a controversial feature is not returning despite appearing in the S4 teaser trailer. Fans have possibly uncovered the new weapons exclusive to each class, and Embark has responded to customization options players would like to see implemented. There is plenty to look forward to including a new map, new gadgets and gizmos, and the introduction of sponsors.

All of this looks and sounds fantastic, but one thing we’d especially to love to see is the return of holiday-themed LTM events. The Finals Season 4 should bring back LTMs The Finals Season 4 should bring back holiday-themed limited-time events. The last we can recall seeing was the Easter celebration back in March during Season 2.

This celebration of Easter introduced an LTM event called Bunny Bash . It brought about Easter-themed rewards for players to unlock through completing challenges. In addition to Easter, we can recall a Valentine’s Day festivity back in February.

Now between March and September, it’s been a very long time since a holiday-themed LTM event was last introduced. It’s a shame The Finals never capitalized on summer with beach-themed skins, weapons, and events as seen in many other live-service multiplayer games, but the perfect opportunity to bring back special LTMs is right around the corner with Halloween. We sorely hope there will be an LTM to celebrate Halloween in October.

Halloween skins seem a certainty, but we would also love to see something similar to Season 2’s Bunny Bash where Embark added unique challenges, rewards, and festive decorations to maps. Chapters typically last three months, so The Finals Season 4 should also celebrate the holiday of Christmas. Similar to our hopes for Halloween, we would love Christmas-themed skins along with an LTM mode, rewards and challenges, and changes to maps to celebrate the holidays.

Events for Halloween and Christmas haven’t been hinted at by Embark, but it’s something we hope to see. They are festivities celebrated in other multiplayer and live-service games, so Embark should do the same to freshen Season 4 up so it doesn’t become stagnant like S3.
