Mickey Rourke was removed from ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother following inappropriate behaviour, with his final act sealing his exit.

The Oscar-nominated actor created a stir since entering the house until his sudden exit, with many viewers calling for him to be removed within days of the show starting. Within the first week, Rourke was given a formal warning from Big Brother after he made “homophobic” comments towards pop singer JoJo Siwa. Following the warning, there were further incidents involving Rourke’s behaviour, with his final act confirming his removal.

It’s understood that Rourke’s final act came following the actor butting heads with Love Island star and TV presenter Chris Hughes during a task. ITV confirmed that the incident did not involve any physical altercation, but Rourke was threatening and aggressive towards Hughes. Rourke was then asked to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House.

Confirming his exit, a spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother said: “Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.” Recommended Reading Rourke is the second contestant to leave the Big Brother house, after former MP Michael Fabricant was voted out following the first eviction on Friday, April 11. Fabricant was up for eviction alongside Rourke and Coronation Street star Jack P.
