High streets are full of twinkling lights, supermarkets are stocked up on Brussels Sprouts and Wham! is back on the radio which can only mean one thing - it’s Christmas time. Easily one of the best bits of the festive season is getting to explore the many markets that spring up at this time of year. Here in Kent, we certainly to visit for a spot of gift buying and many of them are now in full swing.
From the newly to the unique , there’s plenty to get stuck in too. Sadly, it’s not been the easiest year for our county’s Christmas markets so far this winter. Canterbury’s was , while the latter also .
The ever-popular Dickensian Christmas Festival had to be scrapped too as the excessive gales posed a real risk to health and safety. Following announcement that some this week, many may be wondering when all of the others across Kent will be winding down.
