The cold weather arrives to the region

Showers from last night linger this morning, but after that the cloudy skies stick around the entire day. A strong west wind in the afternoon will bring a drop in temperatures, down into the mid 40s by the afternoon. We only cool down for there, as highs drop to the upper 38s Wednesday afternoon, with chances of snow flurries.

The rest of the week keeps the cold, with upper 30s and cloudy skies for Thursday and Friday..
