The taller, more athletic Eagles, who are coached by former College of Charleston head coach Earl Grant, took advantage of their superior height, outrebounding the Bulldogs 43-32. The Bulldogs made things interesting, especially during the first half when Keynan Davis sank two free throws to cut the Eagles' lead to 27-25 with less than two minutes before halftime. But a 10-2 run to end the first half opened things up for Boston College as the Atlantic Coast Conference team took a 37-28 lead at halftime.
