The most coveted head coaching candidate of the 2025 offseason has landed with the Chicago Bears . Just two days after the Detroit Lions lost to the Washington Commanders in the NFC Divisional playoff, offensive coordinator Ben Johnson took the job to lead Caleb Williams and the Bears. Johnson’s high-powered offense in Detroit and the work he did with what many saw as a reclamation project with Jared Goff have made him the target of many teams over the past couple of seasons.
In three years with Detroit, Johnson’s offense never finished below fifth in the NFL in yards or points, finishing second and first respectively in 2024. Which brings us to today’s quiz. Dating back to their founding in 1919 as the Decatur Staleys before relocating in 1921, the Chicago Bears have had 24 coaches in NFL franchise history.
This storied list includes one Hall of Fame coaches who had multiple stints with the team, two Hall of Fame players and one Super Bowl winner. How many of the leaders of the Bears can you name?
