This action-packed series, crafted by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler, originally aired from 2013 to 2016 on Cinemax and later garnered a wider audience on Amazon Prime Video, reports the Mirror . Set in the titular Amish community, Banshee features Starr as Lucas Hood, an ex-con and skilled thief who takes on the identity of a slain sheriff.

As he's pursued by the gangster Rabbit, Lucas administers his own harsh justice while trying to reconnect with his former flame Anastasia, who has also assumed a new identity. The show recently resurfaced in the Facebook group Netflix Bangers, attracting a new wave of fans. One member declared: "This is a good series, a must-watch, you don't even get bored for a minute in this show, and the bonus content is a lot of X-rated scenes (I think dude slept with every girl in the town), along with a good plot.

" Long-time viewers joined the conversation, with one rating it nine out of 10 and dubbing it "the most underrated series of all time." Others shared their enthusiasm, with comments like "One of the best series I've ever watched, it's fantastic," and "very addictive" and "in my top three series of all time." Another fan praised the show's intensity, writing: "The brutality in this series is unreal in certain scenes.

...

this series is addictive." Speaking with Collider around the launch of Season 1, Starr was effusive about the team behind the show. "Oftentimes, you read these pilot scripts that come through for American work and they don't sing to you," he commented.

"I've got to be honest, not many of them ignite the flame or give you that burning feeling of, 'Oh, God, I really want to be a part of this.'" "This is not the first one, but in that last pilot season, this was the first one where I went, 'Holy, I really want to be a part of this,' because of the material and because of the people involved.".
