It later became a backpackers’ accommodation site before being bought by The Block’s producers. “In 2019, The Block contestants Matt and El’ise – who placed second on the show – created a very big home that has four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a double-car garage and a lift across all three levels,” Mr Bruce said. He described the rooftop terrace, equipped with an outdoor kitchen, open fireplace and concrete seating, as a great place to entertain guests.

A formal living area featuring hardwood floors and an open fireplace, an open-plan space with a stone-stacked fireplace and central courtyard terrace provide other options. The stone-fitted kitchen is fitted with a Gaggenau fridge and freezer, wine fridge and Bosch appliances. Each first floor bedroom has an ensuite and one has access to an undercover terrace.
Upstairs is the main bedroom with a bay-facing balcony, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite with a freestanding bath. Other highlights include a study area, Tesla storage battery, solar panels, zoned reverse-cycle heating and cooling, double glazing, keyless entry and EV charging in the garage. There’s four bathrooms in the house.

Mr Bruce said buyers would be given the option to purchase the furniture inside the residence, which he described as the largest out of the five former Block homes, offering 280sq land size and 365sq m in total floor space across all three levels.
Mr Bruce said the house would suit an investor wanting to lease it out as a long-term or short-term rental or a family, due to its four bedrooms and multiple living spaces. Public records show the house was listed for rent at $2500 per week in 2023. Expressions of interest will close on October 15.
