The award-winning indie game studio Midjiwan has released the latest update for The Battle of Polytopia. This update introduces a new Aquarion Special Skin, adds additional language options, and updates the balance for the recently reworked Aquarion tribe. Players will explore the depths of the Ritiki Marshlands, where they’ll come across a hidden Aquarion outpost.

Here, they can discover and equip the new “The Forgotten” skin. Long ago, the mighty Aquarion Empire sank beneath the waves, leaving one distant outpost stranded in swampy atolls. Cut off from the world, the people there believed they were the last of their kind.

Over time, they adapted to their marshy home, growing squid-like limbs. As well as developing powers to control the swamp and its creatures. With “The Forgotten,” players can use unique abilities to build on water, summon giant squids, create speed-boosting bubbles, ride crocodiles, tame toads, and easily navigate marshy terrains.

Additionally, the latest update offers expanded language options. The game is now available in Hindi, Indonesian, Malay, Polish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Christian Lövstedt, CEO of The Battle of Polytopia, commented: “I feel that this skin is one of the best we’ve created and has quickly become my personal favourite.

Additionally, we have added Bubble Tech to the Aquarion Waterways, making that tribe even greater. With expanded language options and new gameplay mechanics, we’re inviting players to dive into the rich lore and strategy that make the Battle of Polytopia truly special.” To mark the release of the new update, Midjiwan hosted an exclusive live stream event, giving fans a special behind-the-scenes look, live gameplay, and conversations with the development team.
