The CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football) Beach Soccer Championship is set to take center stage in Nassau, The Bahamas, from March 11-16. A total of eight countries will vie for the prestigious regional title and an opportunity to compete in the FIFA (International Federation of Association Football) Beach Soccer World Cup, set for May 1-11, 2025, in Victoria, Seychelles. Two coveted spots will be up for grabs.

The Malcolm Park Beach Soccer Facility will host this exciting event, drawing teams and fans from across the region. The tournament will feature two groups, each comprising four teams. Group A includes Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Guatemala.

Group B features the United States, The Bahamas, Panama and Trinidad and Tobago. The competition will kick off with a round-robin format, where each team will face the others in its group. The top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stage.

The knockout stage will feature direct elimination semifinals on March 15, and the winners will advance to the final on March 16, while the other two teams will compete for third place. The finalists will not only have a chance to claim the championship trophy but will also secure qualification for the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup. In the last edition of the CONCACAF Beach Soccer Championship, held in 2023, the United States clinched their third title.

The Bahamas Football Association (BFA) has announced the roster for The Bahamas Men’s National Beach Soccer Team, affectionately known as the Junkanoo Boyz.

With a number five ranking in CONCACAF and a number 33 world ranking, the Junkanoo Boyz aim to defend their home turf with pride.
