Thiruvananthapuram: As part of the curriculum revision for classes I to X in the state's general education sector , the state curriculum committee will meet on Monday to approve the revised textbooks . General education minister V Sivankutty said a total of 128 revised textbook titles for classes II, IV, VI, and VIII would come before the committee for approval. The state curriculum committee already approved 77 textbook titles for the Class X on Dec 19, 2024.
With this, the revised textbooks for classes II, IV, VI, VIII, and X will be implemented in the next academic year, he said. The textbook revision work was completed on time with the help of over a thousand teachers. The minister also said in a press release that travel allowances and honorariums for all members of the writing committee involved in these activities will be provided promptly.
