The actress, who played Nicole Franklin on the popular soap from 2008 to 2011, told this week's Stellar Magazine her relationship with Nate has become stronger over the years. 'I said to him the other day, I wish we could get married now because I feel like I really know you.

I didn't know you then and you didn't know me. It was just pure love,' Tessa, 33, said. 'We're such a team.



We're in the trenches in the season we're in now. We have four kids: seven, four, three, and almost one. He's my ride or die.

'We have a very fluid life. He goes away a lot. I travel a lot.

To have that amount of children, I think you really have to have each other's back.' She also revealed how Nate took time off back in 2014 when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. 'He was travelling all the time. I had to get people to come and look after me because I couldn't drive and I just wasn't functioning.' Tessa and Nate share four children together: Saynt, six, Jaguar, three, London, two, and their newborn who they welcomed in July 2024.

They tied the knot in 2011 before welcoming their first child in December 2017. Tessa's pregnancy came three years after she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Speaking about her diagnosis in 2018, Tessa said that the disease stripped her of certainties.

'Going through something like (cancer) strips you of who you are, not only physically but mentally,' she told Women's Health Magazine. In the same month as her 2014 diagnosis, Tessa told the Herald Sun she credited her husband, who is married in 2011, for his unwavering support. 'I have a lot of help and I have a wonderful husband. I am really healthy and I credit a lot of that to how good I feel.

I think that happiness, it says a lot.'
