It's not easy to talk politics in these times, especially if you're a public person, but Terry Bradshaw did just that. The legendary NFL quarterback was a Hall of Famer with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has since been on the air for Fox Sports, working every NFL Sunday.
Bradshaw is one of the most public-facing people in the league. It does him little good to risk speaking out on controversial topics. But that didn't stop him from doing that a couple of years ago.

He got sick of both sides. "I've been a Republican, but now I'm a registered independent. I don't want to alienate anyone, and the minute you say, “I'm a Democrat” or “I'm Republican,” you're kicking off the other side.
I want the best person [in the White House], and I'll pick the one who's most like the way I feel," he told bjtonline in 2020. Bradshaw hasn't shied away from criticizing Donald Trump, either, which is especially brave for someone on FOX. Bradshaw spoke out against Trump's criticism of NFL players kneeling for the national anthem.
"This is America. If our country stands for anything, folks, it's freedom. People died for that freedom.
I'm not sure if our President understands those rights. That every American has the right to speak out also to protest. Believe me, these athletes do love our this great country of ours.
