Terrifying moment huge shark prowls shoreline at packed tourist beach

Terrifying footage has captured the moment a huge shark entered shallow water at a popular tourist spot in Cuba. The video, filmed by a tourist on a catamaran, shows the predator swimming just metres away from the shoreline in front of horrified beachgoers. The predator is seen thrashing around as people stood closely by the sand.

Beachgoers desperately scramble to get out of the sea during the encounter before lifeguards were forced to evacuate the beach on the small island of Cayo Santa Maria. The incident happened close to the luxury Royalton Cayo Santa Maria Hotel. Luckily, despite the incident happening at a busy hotspot, no injuries were reported.
