C. — After finishing fourth overall in a tune-up invitational of 31 teams at the 10th annual Pumpkin Run in Wilson, the Terra Ceia Christian School Knights dominated the MACAA conference championship. The MACAA meet was held Oct.

14 at the ECU North Recreational Complex and completed a three-peat of conference championships. The Knights won all races in which they had competitors. The varsity boys took the overall win with a score of 14, beating out Pamlico Christian Academy (23), Gramercy Christian (35), Faith Christian (38), Christ Covenant (41), New Bern Christian (50), Jacksonville Christian (70), Trinity Christian (77), Community Christian (79), Bethel Christian-Virginia (NS).

Terra Ceia was led by overall winner Troy Wright with a time of 18:39. Other TCCS finishers were Coby Alligood (6th), Tanner Carawan (7th), Levi Wright (8th), Dustin Carrow (13th) and Lawson Holland (22th). The junior varsity boys also took first place with a score of 6, shutting out the rest of the competition.

The team was led by Carter Ewell with a time of 12:39, followed by Izak Wright (13:33), Squires Tunstall (13:37), Carter Stowe (14:45) and Wesley Stowe (18:23). The junior varsity girls also took first place overall with a team score of 10. The team was led by first-place overall winner Emma Spinner with a time of 14:30.

She was followed by Cabella Alligood (14:45) and Savi Spinner (15:53). The varsity girls race was won by Bethel Christian-Virginia. The Knights currently do not have a varsity girls team.

The Knights won all of their regular-season conference meets and many of their runners were recognized for having top-10 times throughout the year. Their only senior, Dustin Carrow, was also recognized for his accomplishments. A few Knights will continue their season on Oct.
