Temperatures to rise above normal today and rest of the week

Low clouds this morning followed by afternoon sunshine.

Good morning, it's Giving Tuesday! We're looking at relatively quiet weather for the rest of the week with the exception of a possible return of Santa Ana winds later this week. Temperatures will be slightly warmer than the season's average later this week. Low clouds this morning will move away by the afternoon for sunshine.

At the beaches, patchy fog will clear by the afternoon then we are looking at temperatures in the mid 60s from L.A. to Orange county beaches.



Coastal cities will see daytime highs between 69 to 71 degrees. L.A.

County valleys will see highs in the mid to upper 70s though some areas in the San Gabriel Valley like Baldwin Park won't reach past 73 degrees. In the Inland Empire expect highs in the low 70s. Temperatures in the high desert will top out in the mid 60s, around 66 degrees, meanwhile low desert temperatures will reach a high of 81 degrees today.

Tonight's lows will drop to the 40s again..
