Temperatures begin to warm up to wrap up the weekend

We look to return to summer-like temperatures this afternoon, with a mix of sun and clouds, and temperatures reaching the 80s for much of the region.

After a couple of cooler days, and some spots dipping below the freezing mark yesterday morning, it was beginning to feel more like fall across the region. However, that will change yet again this afternoon, as we get light winds out of the southwest and temperatures still topping out near 80 degrees for many with few clouds passing through. Overnight, temperatures do not look to nearly cool as much, with the coldest only dropping into the low 50s, and then we warm right back up to start the week, with highs in the upper 70s again tomorrow.

Throughout the rest of the week, we look to have a stretch of temperatures warmer than average, with highs remaining in the low 80s throughout the week. Sunny skies continue to persist until next weekend, where temperatures look to cool slightly into the 70s and bring in the next chance for rain before the start of next week..
