Renowned dance choreographer Jani Master, who predominantly works in the Telugu and Tamil film industries, has been accused of sexual assault by a 21-year-old woman. According to reports, the choreographer allegedly assaulted her during shoots in multiple cities, including Chennai, Mumbai, and Hyderabad. The woman has further claimed that Jani Master assaulted her at her residence in Narsingi.

Hyderabad Police have registered a case against Jani Master under several sections, reports The Hindu . The complaint, initially filed by the 21-year-old at the Raidurgam police station, led to a zero FIR being registered under various sections of the BNS.
The case has since been transferred to the Narsingi police for further investigation. Shikha Goel, Director General of the Women Safety Wing, Telangana, addressed the case, stating: “I advised them to launch an internal inquiry under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (PoSH) Act and since the allegations also attract criminal charges, they were also told to register a case with the law and order police. The case shall be investigated further as per protocol.

This is not Jani Master’s first run-in with controversy.
