Hyderabad :Governor Jishnu Dev Varma on Saturday extended his greetings to the people on the eve of 76th Republic Day as he remembered Dr B.R. Ambedkar "who crafted our Constitution, emphasised the enduring principles of liberty, equality, and fraternity envisioning a vibrant nation with equal opportunities for all".

The Governor said, "As we reflect on the adoption of our Constitution in 1950, let's express my heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable rights and duties it has bestowed upon us over the past 75 years. Our Constitution serves as a guiding compass, leading us toward the ideals of free expression, dignity of life and equal opportunities in education and employment. It's our collective responsibility to enlighten others about the genesis of these rights and the duties enshrined in our Constitution.

" "Today, as a democratic nation, we should take immense pride in our heritage and shared values. The state of Telangana was formed in alignment with the aspirations of four crore people, the sacrifices of the youth and the persistent efforts of students," he added.
