Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has directed officials to conduct a special drive for registering details of VVIPs, bureaucrats, MPs, MLAs and other elected representatives in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits as part of the ongoing comprehensive door-to-door survey to assess social, financial, educational, caste and employment status of the people. He wanted directions to be issued to the government employees to mandatorily register their details in the ongoing survey.
The Chief Minister gave the instructions on Thursday (November 28, 2024) while registering his details as well as those of his family to the enumerators as part of the survey. He enquired about the progress of the survey as also the response from the people and wanted steps to be taken to complete the caste census as soon as possible.
