A Hudson man has been arrested after police said he threatened teenagers with a machete. Timothy Maghakian, 18, of Hudson was arrested on four counts of criminal threatening with a deadly weapon, police said. Around 11:15 p.
m. on Friday, Londonderry police said they responded to three girls stopped in a vehicle on Planeview Road, when another vehicle approached. Police said the three teens were watching planes fly in and out of Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.
>> Download the free WMUR app to get updates on the go: Apple | Google Play << The people in the other vehicle allegedly shouted at the juveniles before leaving and the girls recognized the person, later identified as Maghakian, due to an ongoing dispute between the parties, police said. One of the girls called their mother, who went to the scene and shortly after, Maghakian returned, exited the car with an apparent machete, threaten all four people and left, police said. A "be on the lookout" was issued and around 12:30 a.
m., the Merrimack Police Department found the vehicle and took Maghakian into custody. His vehicle was impounded pending a search warrant, police said.
"That vehicle has been impounded, the weapon hasn't been recovered but has been impounded and is pending a search warrant in hopes to recover that weapon from the vehicle," said Lt. Garrett Malloy with the Londonderry Police Department. No injuries were reported.
Maghakian is scheduled to appear in court on Monday..
