A 16-year-old boy was fatally shot in the parking lot of an Anaheim park on Sunday, Nov. 10. The shooting occurred around 8 p.
m. at John Marshall Park at 2001 West La Palma Avenue, east of the 5 Freeway. The teen suffered several gunshot wounds to the chest and was taken to Anaheim Regional Medical Center by friends, where he later died, Anaheim Police Sgt.
Armando Pardo said. Evidence of the shooting was located in a parking lot inside the park, though it is unknown what took place prior to the shooting. The victim does not have any gang affiliations, he said.
No arrests have been made. Authorities did not immediately release the name of the victim. Related Articles.
