SHAH ALAM: A teenage boy suffered a terrifying ordeal when he was nearly abducted by two men while out jogging in Section 13 yesterday.

SHAH ALAM: A teenage boy suffered a terrifying ordeal when he was nearly abducted by two men while out jogging in Section 13 yesterday.District police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said police received a report from the 15-year-old victim at 10.42pm.

At 5.15pm, the victim was jogging alone when approached by an old grey car, believed to be a Proton Saga or Iswara, with two men inside."One suspect got out, pointed a knife, and ordered the victim into the car.



"The victim refused, struggled with the suspect, and escaped to a nearby condominium guardhouse for help," he said today.The victim suffered a cut on his right cheek and wounds on both arms. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

The case is being investigated under sections 363/511 and 324 of the Penal Code for kidnapping and causing hurt by dangerous weapons or means, respectively.The offences carry jail terms of up to seven and 10 years respectively, as well as possible fines or whipping."Anyone with information can contact investigating officer Inspector Mohamad Sabri Abd Rani at 017-2892628," said Iqbal.
