The Teatro Comunale di Bologna has named Elisabetta Riva as its new Superintendent.Minister of Culture Alessandro Giuli appointed Riva following the unanimous proposal expressed by the Board of Directors of the Fondazione Teatro Comunale di Bologna, chaired by the Mayor and President Matteo Lepore.In a statement, Riva said, “I welcome with sincere emotion and deep gratitude the nomination as Superintendent of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, a position that is a great honor for me.
My international experience has strengthened the connection with Italian culture, which I have always promoted with passion. Now, I intend to put this professional luggage at the service of the Theater, put alongside a talented team to value its rich tradition and project it into new perspectives. I wish to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have trusted me.
