Tears at What Cat Mourning Dog Best Friend Does With His Favorite Toy

Hearts are breaking over a cat's determination to keep a Christmas tradition going after his doggy friend passed. Bossy, or Bossy Mac as the owners call him, has always been surrounded by other animals. The ragdoll cat grew up with two big dogs , Bomber and Roper, and Pawserella the cat.

Unfortunately, as time has gone on, his siblings have slowly passed. He is now navigating life as the only pet in the household. "I have been traveling a lot for work since 2019, so I haven't been able to get or train a new puppy," Sharon Gallagher told Newsweek via TikTok.



"Bossy has never been alone before, and when Bomber passed, Bossy became really depressed." Although it took Bossy a while to get back to himself after grieving, there are moments when he still thinks about his best friend. In the November 23 TikTok video posted to the account @bossymacthecat, Bossy finds one of Bomber's toys and brings it along with him.

Gallagher isn't sure where he found it since most of Bomber's toys are put away. Bossy took out the stuffed animal turkey, one of Bomber's favorite toys, and placed it beside him. He looked at the Christmas tree lights in admiration.

Gallagher said Bossy was even staring at a special ornament—Bomber's paw print with his name engraved. "I have no doubt animals sense spirits better than humans do, and I have no doubt Bomber was right there with his friend, admiring the Christmas lights like they always did," Gallagher said. Gallagher reflected on Bossy's special relationship with Bomber.

Although it seemed like Bossy loved Bomber more than Bomber loved him, the dog still accepted the love. He would growl if he became annoyed, but he'd never do anything, which meant Bossy kept going back for more. "Anywhere Bomber was, Bossy would make himself comfortable right beside him," she said.

"Bed, floor, couch, wherever. He used to play with his tail or rub his gums all over him." The duo couldn't have been more opposite.

Bomber was a 100-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback —meanwhile, Bossy is only about 10 pounds. Despite being smaller, Bossy always called the shots. He's particular and would always want Bomber wherever he could see him.

As of Friday, the TikTok clip amassed over 55,500 views and 5,523 likes. People were brought to tears for Bossy's action to keep Bomber part of the holiday traditions. "Bossy.
