Team delivering huge improvements to care to Bolton patients shortlisted for award

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust has been named as a finalist at the Public Finance Awards 2024.

A team who have helped improve the treatment of Bolton patients are up for an award for helping deliver modern hospital theatres and a community diagnostic hub. Bolton NHS Foundation Trust which runs Royal Bolton Hospital, has been named as a finalist at the Public Finance Awards 2024. The Trust’s finance team are shortlisted in the ‘Finance Team of the Year – Frontline Services’ category for their work to deliver high quality services for the NHS in Bolton.

The Public Finance Awards recognise the people, products and services that demonstrate excellence and originality within public finance. The winners will be announced in London on Tuesday 26 November 2024. The Finance team have also driven the production of business cases for national capital funding for two major developments, which is helping to provide better care to more patients in Bolton and beyond.

” Earlier this year, the team launched an ambitious project to create a shared ledger system for NHS providers in Greater Manchester. They also scored in the top 15 for the national NHS Staff Survey for NHS financial departments for the consecutive year. Got a story? E-mail me at Leah.
