Teacher suspended for organising 'baby shower' for student at school

The 'ceremony' was attended by her classmates. The incident happened more than a month ago but came to light after videos of the minor girl's 'baby shower ceremony' were widely shared on social media platforms, said Vellore chief education officer Manimozhi.

The CEO ordered a probe into the incident besides suspending the girl student's class teacher and served a notice to the school headmistress seeking an explanation in this regard.
