Last weekend, Te Awamutu hosted the 2024 New Zealand Secondary School Lacrosse Tournament , welcoming teams from Waikato , Auckland and beyond to Albert Park. The tournament brought together boys’ and girls’ teams, showcasing the tight-knit nature of New Zealand’s growing lacrosse community including the event set up and clean up each day. The hard work of numerous volunteers, including coaches, officials, and administrators, ensured the tournament ran smoothly.
