TBS Championship match set for AEW Worlds End

Kris Statlander is getting a second chance. Statlander and Mercedes Mone agreed to a TBS Championship match on Saturday’s Collision at the Hammerstein Ballroom. In recent weeks, Statlander had made it clear she wanted to be next in line for a championship shot.

Shortly before her match against Penelope Ford on Saturday, Statlander made the challenge to Mone. Following her victory, Mone came out and said she originally was going to take Worlds End off, but since it’s the holidays, she would grant Statlander another title match and would beat her once again. In her promo earlier in the show, Statlander said ever since Mone came into AEW, she has been in a downward spiral.



Statlander hoped that if she were to regain the title, she could start fixing some of the problems that she created. AEW Worlds End 2024 is scheduled to take place on December 28 from the Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, Florida, featuring the following advertised lineup:.
