Swifties had a feeling that a certain sighting was too good to be true . A Taylor Swift TikTok account posted a picture from the singer from 2017 of her filming End Game in London. At the time, Swifties believed she was recording her hit single "Getaway Car" from her album Reputation .
Taylor has yet to release the remake of Reputation, and Swifties from all over the world have been anticipating it. Because it was April 1, also known as April Fools Day , a fan account decided to prank other fans with screenshots of the singer being spotted at that time, filming the music video, making fans believe that it was taken recently. " People in the comment section, at first, fell for the post and then realized, it was a prank. One person wrote: "can’t tell if this is april fools or not." Another person wrote: "You did not DAAAARE do this [four crying face emojis].
" A third person commented: "lollol my heart stopped...
I died dead! lol I'm in London...
[three laughing face emojis] hate April fools day." A fourth wrote: "I- I can’t f------ HANDLE THIS is it real? TELL MEEEEEEEEEEE." Hints of Reputation being on the way have been tossed around.
Taylor recently accepted an iHeart Radio Music Award for Tour of the Century, following a fierce year and a half run of the Eras Tour . Swifties quickly noticed her snake necklace that was wrapped around her neck. Snakes, as Swifties know, are a huge part of the branding surrounding the original Reputation release.
The cover of the album is black and white, as she wore her black turtle neck shirt and plaid grey, black and white skirt, giving fans a clue that the anticipated is closer than they think.
