Taylor Lautner playfully spoke his truth on who Bella Swan should have ended up with in the Twilight franchise. The actor this past Saturday, November 16, posted himself doing a viral TikTok trend where a claim is made and then the camera accidentally flips to show who made the claim. Taylor decided to take part in the trend but did it with a Twilight spin.
The six second video begins with the camera recording a scene from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1. In the dream sequence scene, Bella (Kristen Stewart) is getting married to her vampire love interest, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). As the scene plays on a flat-screen TV with no sound except for sorrowful violin music set for the clip, there are words written on the video that read: "Honestly screw Edward.

Based on the post, Taylor appeared to be representing team Jacob. Fans were tickled by the video and in agreement with him about Bella's choice. A fan wrote "ITS OVER HE WON THIS TREND GO HOME.
" Lionsgate wrote: "i mean great video" Another wrote: "The fact that we all collectively thought 'me too' without knowing Taylor posted this is hilarious. A fourth fan said: "I laughed way to hard at this." In the comments, Taylor revealed that it was his wife Tay's idea for the video in response to a fan.
A fan had said: "Why do I feel like this was Tay’s idea [two laughing emojis] and Taylor said, "Cuz you are very smart (and correct)." The 32-year-old played Native American werewolf Jacob Black, who was also the other half of the love triangle between Bella and Edward. Jacob did not end up with Bella at the end but imprinted on her daughter with Edward, Renesmee.
Taylor played Jacob from 2008- 2012 in all five films. Last year in December, the The Grown-Ups 2 shared some insight into his experience with Twilight and dealing with the rivalry amongst fans between his and Robert's characters on the Call Her Daddy podcast. "I think it was awkward at times for the two of us to be standing together on a balcony and having 10,000 girls booing Rob but then cheering for me but then this half, you know, booing me and cheering [for Rob], but then us having to have some sort of friendship.
It was difficult," Taylor said. He elaborated how him and Robert were able to handle it even though they were "very, very different people." "We never really connected on a deep level just because we’re different humans," he contintinued, "But he was always fantastic and the sweetest person ever.
