What began as a concept on the Auto Expo stage a few years ago has now matured into a production-ready model, indicating the brand’s increased confidence in its EV roadmap.Recently showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in its production guise, it has also been caught testing multiple times in recent months confirming that its market launch is sooner rather than later.
The Tata Harrier EV was supposed to launch by the end of last FY but it looks like we may have to wait a few weeks more.Though Tata has remained silent on most tech specs, it is already known that the upcoming midsize electric SUV will claim a range of over 500 km per charge. The model is set to feature a dual-motor setup with all-wheel drive, housing electric motors on both front and rear axles.

Tata also plans to offer a smaller battery variant, allowing the Harrier EV to be sold in multiple trims.
Many elements are likely to be shared with the Curvv EV which made its Indian debut last year.Positioned to take on contenders such as the newly introduced Mahindra XUV.e9 and the Hyundai Creta Electric, it is set to enter a growing segment.

It will incorporate advanced functionalities such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging.
