Target shopper fumes as fragile delivery arrives smashed after huge ‘packing fail’ as store promises to investigate

A TARGET shopper has been left fuming after their fragile delivery arrived smashed in a "packing fail". The devastated customer will have a hard time replacing the limited edition item . Taking to X to vent their frustration, the shopper, named only as AS, posted an image of their freshly opened delivery.

Inside the box, there was a pair of painted ceramic mugs in plastic wrapping. One looked to display the image of a London street with an iconic black cab outside. The other appears to be a red bus mug from the same lineup on Target's website.



READ MORE MONEY But viewers can't say for sure as it has smashed into four pieces inside the box. Furious, AS wrote: "Really Target - this is how you ship china?? "Lucky that one remained intact #packingfail." Even worse for AS, the website suggests that this mug was part of a limited edition range carried by Target on behalf of UK luxury store Marks and Spencer .

Most read in Money It only cost $8 but is not currently in stock as of this evening. Nor is it available for delivery or special order. Target has since responded to AS post, promising swift action.

The AskTarget X account wrote: "Thank you for reaching out. "We apologize that part of your order was damaged as we understand how frustrating this may be. "We'd be happy to look into this.

"Please DM us with your full name, email and order number for further assistance. "We look forward to hearing from you." AS is yet to provide an update on the situation since their initial post on December 31.
