Men’s trousers and jeans could be seen dumped in heaps on the counters, and hangers ripped off the racks across multiple aisles.Posting alongside the images, Lisa fumed: “Hey @Target of Flowood.(I would post on your page but you smartly have posting disabled.
)” We always come from out of town excited to shop here. Not again.“One of my grown daughters even said, ‘It’s like shopping at a thrift store now.
’ (Which is insulting thrift stores!).”Her post from April 6 has since racked more than 500 views.Target responded directly the same day, writing: “Thank you so much for sharing this with us! “We strive to keep our stores clean and tidy to ensure a pleasant and joyful shopping experience and this is simply not acceptable.
“We will share this right away with leadership at our Flowood store.”But this is far from the first time the retail giant has come under fire. Another customer, X user @damianomiller, blasted Target over what he called a “horrible experience” with a missing item from an online order.
He posted: “@Target I am currently going through a horrible experience with Target.com.“As I placed an order for a quantity of THREE, but only received a quantity of TWO.
“My first order was rejected and I have yet to receive any sort of refund for item missing.“Unacceptable.“Damiano claimed Target rejected his refund request because the package had been marked as delivered – but insisted one of the items was missing.
After his complaints went unanswered, the company eventually responded with an apology. It read: “Thank you for reaching out. We apologize that you did not receive all items in your order as we understand how frustrating this can be.
“We’d be happy to look into this.“Please DM us your name, email and order number for further assistance.“We look forward to hearing from you!”Target also made headlines in recent months with customers complaining about their self-checkout facilities.
One customer said that the check-outs only had one lane open at 12.30pm – one of the shop’s busiest periods. Another complained that they were caught in a 30-person queue, because of a lack of staff at the check-outs.
