A host of Bollywood celebrities gathered at a popular Mumbai restaurant on Sunday night for a costume party held in support of a charitable cause.
The star-studded guest list included Wamiqa Gabbi, Huma Qureshi, and former actress Tanisha Mukerji — Kajol’s sister and daughter of veteran actress Tanuja. While the evening was meant to be lighthearted and fun, it was Tanisha’s bold outfit that stole the spotlight — and sparked quite a bit of online chatter. Staying true to the party’s whimsical theme, Tanisha arrived in a sheer black mesh maxi dress adorned with oversized white fabric roses, strategically placed on the top half and back.
She completed her look with statement jewellery and a dramatic fascinator perched on her head. As she made her entrance, photos and videos of the outfit quickly went viral, and social media didn’t hold back. While some appreciated the fashion-forward risk, many criticised the look as “too revealing" and unoriginal.
