Tamannaah Bhatia has emerged as the new darling on the internet thanks to her performance in ‘Aaj Ki Raat’ from Stree 2 . At Rahul Mishra’s new store launch event in Hyderabad, Tamannaah Bhatia wore a midnight dress from the designer's eponymous label. Channelling Old Hollywood glamour, Bhatia captivated in a midnight-hued gown with a dramatic trail and a sensual sweetheart neckline.

The canvas, doused in sequins, continues floral and architectural motifs from the designer’s recent couture collection. The hem of her skirt and the trail articulates peacocks peeking in and out of a palace, surrounded by lush flowers and foliage, as the birds look up at the midnight sky. The result took hundreds of hours of work to complete and was entirely handmade by several artisans.

This sweetheart neckline number is just one of the numerous creations by Mishra that Bhatia has worn over the years, joining the ranks of A-list patrons like Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday and even Zendaya. Last year, for the opening weekend of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) at Bandra Kurla Complex, Karisma Kapoor was spotted in a strikingly similar cocktail-ready Rahul Mishra gown on the pink carpet. Her Cosmos Galaxy fish-cut corset trail gown from his Couture Spring 2023 collection was also adorned with 3D hand embroidery.

Where Kapoor embraced a wet hair chignon, Bhatia’s hair embodied the dishevelled hair trend with beach-wave curls . The finishing touch of her beauty look comprised a dewy base, soft smoky eyes, lots of highlighter and nude lips. She wore a gold cuff bracelet and no other pieces of jewellery to complete her accessory look, keeping the spotlight on the gown.
