MSNBC ’s Ayman Mohyeldin mocked Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) for an awkward attack on pop star Taylor Swift that sounded more like criticism of running mate Donald Trump . Swift last week endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris , triggering a meltdown in MAGA world ― including an all-caps message from Trump himself declaring “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Vance dismissed Swift as a “billionaire celebrity” who is “fundamentally disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans.

A billionaire celebrity who is disconnected from the interests and problems of most Americans?” he said. “Does he know who his running mate is?” Consider supporting HuffPost starting at $2 to help us provide free, quality journalism that puts people first.
