Taconic softball shuts out streaking Drury, as Thunder turn corner in spring season

PITTSFIELD — Taconic brought a streaking Drury softball team to a screeching halt Monday afternoon. Chey Goddard and the Thunder shutout the red-hot Blue Devils, 12-0, on a picture-perfect day at Kevin Harrington Field. Goddard took the circle against a Drury lineup that had produced 61 runs over a four-game win streak and allowed a single hit, walked one batter and struck out one over five innings.
